Scheme Keeps Helping Women Every Month
Maharashtra government’s popular Ladki Bahin Yojana is ready to give its 15th installment. From next week, every eligible woman will get ₹1500 straight in her bank account. This money helps sisters and wives handle daily expenses like food, children’s school fees, and medicine. Since the scheme started in 2024, more than 2 crore women are getting this support every month without any break.
Who Can Get the 15th Kist?
Only women who already got the first 14 installments can receive this one. New rules stay the same – age between 21 and 65 years, family income less than ₹2.5 lakh per year, and must be a resident of Maharashtra. If your Aadhaar is linked with bank and mobile, money will come automatically.

When and How Will Money Come?
State officials say the 15th kist will start from 5 November 2025. First, money will go to women in Mumbai, Pune, and Nagpur. By 10 November, every district will finish the transfer. Women can check SMS on registered mobile or visit the official portal mahadbt.maharashtra.gov.in to see status.
What Women Are Saying
In small villages and big cities, ladies are happy. Sunita from Satara says, “This ₹1500 pays my daughter’s bus pass and buys vegetables for whole month.” Another woman, Rekha from Thane, adds, “I save ₹500 every month for my son’s college.” Many use the cash to start tiny shops or pay electricity bills without asking husband.
Future of the Scheme
Government promises the scheme will run till 2029. Next year, they plan to increase the amount if budget allows. Women who missed earlier installments can still apply at local Anganwadi or CSC centre before 30 November. Helpline number 1800-120-8040 works 24 hours for any doubt.
